Meet The Instructor/Owner
My name is Andonia Reynolds. I was born and raised in Edson Alberta and have grown up with horses.
I spent the better part of my childhood working in
"Willmore Wilderness Park" where I enjoyed as an eleven year old the experience of truly roughing it in the bush. I took part of pack trips where I was guiding and wrangling till I was 18 years of age.
While working in the mountains I gained experience training horses on the trail and gaining confidence in the saddle. I started teaching clinics shortly after, which brought me to becoming an instructor.
I participated in English riding lessons and worked as an evening barn supervisor at Whitemud Equine Center, moving forward with "Olds College" where I studied Equine Science and "Western Horsemanship".
In 2010 I became certified as an instructor with CHA and started Windy Acres in 2011, by 2012 I was operating my own outdoor facility that provided training, lessons, pack trips and boarding.
I continue to move forward in helping others develop their skills while building a safe and confident relationship with the horse and developing my own skills so I may always offer a successful experience.
